Objectives

My research interests include adaptable, self-organizing, self-management, self-diagnosis and self-protection of distributed communication networks and networked services. Peer-to-peer networks and GRID computing services are also my areas of interests.

• PABX Based Call Center
iSoftel Communications (Thailand) Co. Ltd. 2006. This is JAVA JAX-RPC/Apache Axis C++ web services frame work. Client site is JAVA swing GUI for call center agent monitoring and administration. This software is uses ENVOX CSTA Java APIs to communicate with the CT Connect Server and PABXs. Web-Services and CORBA middleware (TAO+ACE) frameworks are used for the communication between engine (software engine which is running in the IVR server communicating with PABX) and monitor (which is Java Swing GUI running in the call center supervisor computer). • ICT Implementation for e-Health in South-East and South Asia – AIT, Thailand 2005, also presented APNG-7 Taiwan.
This is purposed as a pilot concept project designed for the SARRC and ASEAN regions and aims to provide online health services to the patients via Health service providers in these regions. Campus wide computer network design which includes 1 MDF and 8 IDF connecting different sections and departments of the College. VLANs have been implemented within intranet separating Academic, Administration, Financial and Exam section. Implementation has been done as per the CISCO networking standards. • PC Based Digital Signal Processor and Spectrum Analyzer Design: Undergraduate Final Year Project-2003
This project attempts to achieve the PC Based Signal analysis focusing on the field of digital signal processing (DSP). The main component is the analysis of the spectrum in frequency domain; in addition to that the digital processing modules have been included. This software application have additional features that are not present on a traditional Spectrum analyzer such as: Saving / Printing waveforms, Data logging features, Simulative Data Generation, Equalization of the received wave, Changing sampling frequencies etc, Greater flexibility, Addition of features without making major changes in the hardware circuit. • Wide Area Network (WAN) design: Institute of Engineering, Nepal. 2003
It is a CISCO Certified Wide Area Network Design and Implementation. Wide Area Network (WAN) locations include 4 regional colleges of Institute of Engineering (I.O.E Kathmandu -Pohkara-Dharan-Thapathali). • Local Area Network Design- 2002
It is a CISCO Certified Local Area Network Design and Implementation. Location is the Institute of Engineering (IOE) Pulchowk campus, Nepal. It includes 5 buildings of the Institute named B-C Block, A-Block, CED Block, and Library- Block & CIT Building. This project also simulated and tested using CISCO networking switched and routers.
